Mobiles are not just for the little ones - they're also for the big kids - like you & I! And these gorgeous laser cut wooden mobiles are no exception! They cross all ages, genders and almost all [decorating] styles. I love the folkloric feeling, and the clean, simple lines these forest friends present in a suspended wistful arrangement. I have a 'gypsy-esque bird/ forest theme' - for want of  better words -  for my little Isabelle and these mobiles would take her form newborn to toddler with a whimsical simple style that I wouldn't have to coordinate another colour into the room schematic - the natural timber would 'go' with everything!
I have previously posted on Palatial Living on the fabulous artists through the fantastic Kinder Gallery [based in Sydney and a second home in Berlin] - these mobiles are made by one of their represented artists Lorena Siminovich, who also has a number of gorgeous works that can also be found & purchased on Kinder Gallery's web site. Contact Kinder Gallery or subscribe to their newsletter to find out more... Enjoy! S x

From the Kinder Gallery website...

Petit Collage is a line of modern wall decor and accessories with a vintage twist for children and grownups alike founded by Buenos Aires born artist, Lorena Siminovich.
Lorena Siminovich started to draw when she was very young and couldn't seem to stop. She would sit in her room and fill sheet after sheet of paper with her nascent artistic visions. And the intoxicating potential of the blank page has never left her since. Having worked in San Francisco as a creative director, Lorena has amassed a wealth of experience in graphic design, illustration and art which she brings to Petit Collage.

Kindergallery offers Petit Collage’s range of prints on wood, screen prints and bamboo mobiles, which easily mix and match together.

  1. hi,

when i was in high school i am also making those hanging things but the materials i am using are only cardboard and then paint them. The designs that i like to make before are flowers and birds.

    thanks,
