Happy Easter!

Just in case I don't get a chance to wish you all a very Happy Easter on Sunday, I am being organised and thought I would send you my Easter wishes today...
This evening & tomorrow morning I am going mad into organising Isabelle's 1st Birthday party we're having a small afternoon tea for tomorrow! So between now & then I am baking cakes, making a no '1' birthday cake [thanks vintage Women's Weekly Birthday Cake Book!] hanging some super cute bunting, blowing up balloons, dishing out the party bags & setting the tables! All in shades of Pink & Green with stripes & spots for good measure!

So here's to your safe travels through the Easter & ANZAC long weekend, warm sunny [autumn] weather, delicious Easter eggs from the bunny and a Happy one too!
Enjoy,

BTW - will post my Easter Egg tree later on... just need to download my pics!

Happy Weekend!

The Weekend couldn't arrive sooner! I love this image - the bright pink balloons fluidly flying up into the wind [like a formation of swallows] against the steady backdrop of the Eiffel Tower! We have my god-daughter's 3rd birthday party tomorrow and these pink balloons reminded me of what fun a little girls birthday party can be!

Did you take the Colour IQ test this week? What was your score? I had a bit of fun with it too... Thanks for joining me this week at Palatial Living - hope to see you next week! Til then - Happy Weekend, take care & enjoy...

Inspired...

Invariably the simplicity of several words configured into a sentence forming quote - catch me off guard and there lies my 'ah-ha moment'... I believe that sometimes our fear to take a risk can get in our way of destined success - with our family life, our work, old & new friendships, forgiveness & love, and even down to trying that new colour on a wall with all our best design ambitions! The fear & the risk of letting go then allows us the lessons of [near] failure, to then learn & succeed.
I continue to learn everyday...
