Happy Weekend!

Hope you have had a great week... mine has been very intresting to say the least!

I tell you - you never know who you will meet, what you will do or where you might go within the course of one week!

We have a special family friend's wedding tomorrow evening in a gorgeous part of Sydney and where our little Isabelle will be a 'princess flower fairy girl' as she calls it, as flower girl. So we will all be in for a special and wonderful afternon & evening together.

Is it Raining?

We've had so many 'showers' here in Sydney over the past couple of weeks that it's become a must to carry an umbrella! Well I found one that I may not be able to carry around but I certainly wouldn't mind it raining a little - if I'm inside looking at this stunning Umbrella inspired chandelier!

Faded Grandeur...

It's strange how sometimes two non-related images or things can completely interlink and inspire me... I was inspired by two main things for this post 'Vogue Living' July/ August 2010 issue with an editorial 'Walls That Talk' of Debra Cronin's gorgeous romantic renovated-dilapidated Woollahra terrace, and a friend's recent facebook [gorgeous] profile pic of herself and her [nearly 1 year old] son reaching for a beautiful chandelier in their home... Led me to post these images that further inspire me, maybe I am preoccupied with the idea of re-decorating our master bedroom! The Different Faces of the Chandelier...

I have been looking at lighting options lately & came across these images of these gorgeous chandeliers... there's one for all tastes and nearly all rooms, and the best thing they don't have to be in the traditional 'Marie Antoinette' crystal look! I like them all... I just need more rooms now! Enjoy x
