Happy Weekend x

Happy Weekend!
Hope you have had a great week... mine has been very intresting to say the least!
I tell you - you never know who you will meet, what you will do or where you might go within the course of one week!
We have a special family friend's wedding tomorrow evening in a gorgeous part of Sydney and where our little Isabelle will be a 'princess flower fairy girl' as she calls it, as flower girl. So we will all be in for a special and wonderful afternon & evening together.
Hope your weekend is as wonderfu. See you next week x
Enjoy,

Colour Effects - Embroidered & Print Pattern Cushions

I simply cannot resist any of these cushions... those who know me, and have tried to sit on any of my lounges know that need to move the 5, 7, 9, 11 or so cushions out of the way just to sit down! Yes I love cushions... I make them - fabric I have collected, beautiful tea towels are a fave way of mine, and ones i have just found esp from Jim Thompson [original home, museum and shop in Bangkok Thailand].
Here's a few I loved mixing up the print, pattern, and textures...
It's amazing when you mix pattern and print - the main thing is to join them wih the same or complimentary colour palette - that way you've got a winning combination!
Have a go - Enjoy!

Graphic Cushions - Old MacDonald's Farm

I love these graphic - printed cushions, a series called 'Old MacDonald' By Bumble Belly Designs through Etsy store. The story behind the designs - the the maker tells us that these designs were inspired by her daughter's stories & songs from 'Old MacDonald's Farm'.
Simple inspiration turns to fabulous product idea!
