Happy Weekend x

Happy Weekend!
Hope you have had a great week... mine has been very intresting to say the least!
I tell you - you never know who you will meet, what you will do or where you might go within the course of one week!
We have a special family friend's wedding tomorrow evening in a gorgeous part of Sydney and where our little Isabelle will be a 'princess flower fairy girl' as she calls it, as flower girl. So we will all be in for a special and wonderful afternon & evening together.
Hope your weekend is as wonderfu. See you next week x
Enjoy,

Completely Smitten...

Saw this pretty lovely litte cake on fab blog Paterson Maker from gorgeous mag 'Smitten - Southern Style'.
Not only are they two of my fave hues [colours] eggshell white & taupe,  I think it's almost to perfect to take a bite out of it!
Maybe I would need one to look at, and one to eat!
Check out Smitten mag here or via their facebook page another fabulously gorgeous & stylish distraction for me full of very Palatial style real weddings & ideas, to look into & share on Palatial Living!
I couldn't resist - here are some more gorgeous edible & non edible images from Smitten!
Enjoy,

Very Pretty Princess...

I know the Royal Wedding of William & Catherine, the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge - has come & gone, their honeymoon has been taken and they have landed back into reality - but I simply couldn't resist revisiting the very pretty lovely images of now & a few of those from yesteryear. Both very very pretty 'princesses'.

Happy Happy Birthday!

Sending loads of Birthday love & wishes to my fabulous sister-in-law, Kylie, today! Although she'd rather some hot chips with a candle, I know she still has a penchant for a cupcake or two only if they're really, really good!
It's an exciting year ahead for Kylie and her fiance, James - with their upcoming engagement party soon & loads of wedding planning ahead! Happy Happy Birthday!
Much Love,

Friday Flowers for L-O-V-E!

Flowers for Friday this week is for a very special reason - L-O-V-E - this weekend - is my [little] sister, Felicity's Wedding to her fiance Alexander! We're all so very excited for them both & cannot wait till Saturday afternoon for the Church ceremony, and following reception celebrations! Although I am a little inhibited at 36 weeks pregnant to a) wear the bridesmaid dress - I have a special one for the day as chief bridesmaid to accommodate Baby Verity! b) no flowing champagne for me - just mock tails, and c) have to keep it to a few dances instead of many; bonus - my husband is groomsman so we're together on the day! We do know it is going to be a fabulous day for my sister & our families, and Felic will be gorgeous bride!
Hope you have a love-filled weekend whatever you're up to - be it attending a wedding, or spending time with your family & friends, falling in love with a piece of furniture, art work or print, or a plant for your garden! Enjoy & Take Care. S xxx

Special Invitations...

Yesterday evening I mocked up some very special invitations for my sister, Felicity - who currently lives in London & preparing for her wedding away from 'home-home' as we call it, and just needs a little design direction. The colour scheme we came up with is contemporary but sophisticated - such as Oyster Moonbeam Silver/Grey that will be accented with Sunny Yellow teamed with Ivory & Fresh Green Whites, with a slight touch of Noir - as a printing anchor [for now].... and thought I would share some of the pieces I came up with [for her].
